Job Description
Plan and direct all logistical aspects of on-campus football recruiting events including official and unofficial prospect visits, game days, junior days, the spring game and camps and clinics.
Duties for this position include:- Create and distribute all recruiting itineraries, schedule coaches, support staff, and campus representatives meetings and presentations, reserve all needed facility spaces and ensure proper preparation, assign staff and intern responsibilities
- Organize compliance forms before and after each visit, adhere to NCAA regulations, make lanyards, nametags and "cheat sheets",
- Lead event reconciliation with the football staff,
- Build custom PowerPoint recruiting presentations for coaches to present to top prospects, directing the Head Coaches Culture of Compliance,
- Document communication between the football staff and compliance staff,
- Recruit hire, train direct and manage interns and volunteers to help with daily recruiting tasks and events.
- Manage Head Coach communication with prospective student-athletes including social media (as necessary), call lists/logs, handwritten letters, etc.
- Document communication and distribute it to the staff though ARMS.
- Manage handwritten letters for the staff, targeted mailings and social media graphic to special prospects, families and high school coaches.
- Assist with prospective student-athletes, summer camps and coaches clinics. Contribute to the management and production of the Head Coach's Social Media handles as directed by the Head Coach.
- Responsible for handling all PSA's transcript detail as it relates to NCAA eligibility.
- Assist the coaching staff with other daily operational/recruiting tasks and/or events as needed.
- Assist the Football Graphic Designer as directed on special projects.
- Assist in the planning and execution of all football related events.
- Other duties as assigned by the Football Chief of Staff and General Manager.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Two years of football administrative experience at the high school, college or professional level or equivalent.
Administrative and recruiting experience with Division 1 football program preferred.
- Oral and written communication skills and knowledge of NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.
- Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Computer and video experience preferred.
