DePaul University was hit with wage and hour suit Friday in the Northern District of Illinois by a former athletic department employee who says she wasn't paid for weekend work and was misclassified as a manager to avoid paying overtime.
Plaintiff Catherine Ramsey was employed by DePaul University for 18 years as an administrative assistant to the athletic director and as the athletic events coordinator. She was listed as an hourly employee working a regular 35-hour work week and was paid on an hourly basis.
