The On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator plays a vital role in the Football Program by managing the recruiting efforts of all prospective football student-athletes.
This position is responsible for the overall organization of all prospect recruiting visits to the Notre Dame campus which include the management and maintenance of compliance records for prospective student-athlete official and unofficial visits, directing gameday event operations, creation of itineraries for prospects and families, and working with campus partners and vendors for needs related to campus visits.
The On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator also serves by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising student office workers; this includes overseeing daily office organization and day-to-day expectations (managing the recruiting database, data input, national list compilation, etc.). This position will also represent the Notre Dame football program through organizing and presenting the campus and the program to prospects and families, as well as other outreach platforms.
This position will also be a liaison with various departments including compliance, academics, faculty, and outside vendors and must possess a multitude of skills to ensure success including sound judgement, the ability to multi-task, problem solve, and function independently with a sense of urgency while being proactive for upcoming initiatives. Accurate and concise record keeping skills with a high level of organization are also required. It is imperative that the individual in this position has tremendous social skills and be able to clearly communicate to various constituencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (4 years). Strong familiarity with the sport of football, knowledge of NCAA compliance rules, excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer software knowledge, and effective organization and administrative skills.
