ReplyDeleteI find it very believable that this young man passed after a college football workout. Many times these workouts can be extremely challenging on the body. Often times players try communicating with their coaches that something is wrong but the coaches think the player is being "soft" and trying to get out of the workout. It is extremely sad to see this young man pass doing something he loved. My heart goes out to the family.

The soft term needs to be removed from the coaching lexicon
There can be 100 things going wrong when the body is overly taxes and none of them have to do with the athletes determination or heart
Hate grading these using the iPhone
